Colorado Abolishes Death Penalty

In Colorado, Governor Jared Polis signed into law a bill abolishing the
death penalty and commuting the sentences of three men on Colorado's
death row to life in prison. Colorado joins 21 states and the District
of Columbia, which have already banned the death penalty.
