Report: 5.4 Million Lose Health Insurance Due to Job Losses During Pandemic

An estimated 5.4 million people lost their health insurance between
February and May after losing their job due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Unemployed workers living in states that have not expanded Medicaid have
been particularly hard hit. This includes workers in Texas, Florida and
North Carolina.
