Mississippi Residents Displaced, Homes Inundated from Torrential Rains, Flooding

Back in the United States, residents of Mississippi are bracing for more
heavy rains, as historic flooding from the swollen Pearl River has
affected hundreds of homes. Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves declared a
state of emergency as the Pearl River crested Monday at its
third-highest recorded level.
