India Halts Plan to Restrict Hydroxychloroquine Exports After Trump Threatens to Retaliate

India has stepped back plans to halt exports of the anti-malarial drug
hydroxychloroquine after the Trump administration threatened to
retaliate against the planned move. India is the world's largest
producer of hydroxychloroquine, which President Trump has repeatedly
encouraged Americans to try and touted as a "game changer" in treating
COVID-19 symptoms, despite medical experts warning more tests were
needed.
