Mexico Deploys 6,000 Along Southern Border

Mexico announced it is deploying 6,000 National Guard troops along the
country's southern border with Guatemala this week, as part of a deal
with the U.S. to help stem the flow of northbound migration through
Mexico. Mexican officials also said they detained nearly 800 migrants
over the weekend.
