WH and Congressional Leaders Raise Debt Ceiling, Increase Spending in Budget Deal

The Trump administration and congressional leaders have reached an
agreement on a budget that would raise the debt ceiling and include
increases for defense and domestic programs. Some deficit hawks within
the Republican Party have criticized the deal that Congress must now
pass. The two-year deal also includes provisions aimed at preventing
another government shutdown.
