Afghanistan: Taliban Kill Dozens in Military Base Attack

In Afghanistan, Taliban fighters killed dozens of security forces at a
military intelligence base in Wardak province Monday. Some reports put
the number of dead as high as 100. The attack came as the Taliban and
the U.S. are holding peace talks in Qatar. Last month, President Trump
announced the U.S. will withdraw about half of its troops in
Afghanistan.
