L.A. Teachers Return to Bargaining Table on Day 4 of Historic Strike

In Los Angeles, the union representing more than 30,000 teachers is set
to resume bargaining today with the Los Angeles Unified School District
as a strike by educators enters its fourth day. Teachers are demanding
smaller class sizes, higher pay, the regulation of charter schools and
more nurses, counselors and librarians.
