Nigeria: Scores Killed in Election Violence

In Nigeria, civil society groups reported nearly 40 people were killed
across the country in election-related violence over the weekend.
Nigerians headed to the polls Saturday, one week after elections were
delayed due to logistical reasons. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari
is seeking a second term, running against dozens of challengers amid a
spate of recent violence and insurgent attacks by Boko Haram.
