White House Quietly Releases $105 Million in Military Aid to Lebanon

The White House has quietly released $105 million in military aid to
Lebanon after months of unexplained delays. Top lawmakers have been
asking the White House to explain why the military aid was not delivered
earlier, despite having been approved by Congress and supported by the
Pentagon. Some lawmakers have compared the delay to the withholding of
military aid to Ukraine, which is at the center of the impeachment
inquiry, although there are no allegations President Trump sought favors
from Lebanon.
