North Korea Calls U.S. Secretary of State "Poisonous" as Denuclearization Talks Stall

North Korea's foreign minister on Thursday called U.S. Secretary of
State Mike Pompeo a "diehard toxin" and "poisonous" to diplomacy between
the two countries. Denuclearization talks between the two sides have
stalled for months since a failed second summit between President Trump
and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Hanoi in February. The two
leaders met again in June at the inter-Korean border, where they agreed
to reopen negotiations, but that has not happened.
