Afghanistan: 10 Killed in Suicide Attack as Taliban Peace Talks Collapse

In Afghanistan, suicide attackers stormed the Ministry of Communications
in the capital Kabul on Saturday, trapping thousands of people inside
the building for hours while security forces battled the assailants. At
least 10 people died in the fighting. The self-proclaimed Islamic State
group claimed credit for the attack, which came a day after U.S.-led
peace talks between the Taliban and Afghan leaders broke down in Qatar,
with no immediate plans to reschedule negotiations.
