Russia to Provide Syria with Advanced Missile Defense System

missile defense system. The move comes just days after Syrian missiles
accidentally shot down a Russian military aircraft, killing 15 crew
members. The downing occurred as Israeli jets attacked targets in
Latakia province. Israel and the United States decried Russia's move,
