Brooklyn Catholic Diocese to Pay Massive Settlement in Child Sexual Abuse Cases

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, New York, has agreed to pay out
$27.5 million to four men who were sexually abused by a religious
teacher between 2003 and 2009. It is one of the largest settlements ever
awarded to abuse victims within the Catholic Church.
