Trump Orders Declassification of Materials in Russia Probe

President Trump has taken the unusual step of ordering the intelligence
community to declassify a trove of documents and text messages related
to the ongoing investigation into Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016
election. The documents include the FISA warrant application targeting
Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page, as well as the text
messages related to the Russian probe of a number of former high-ranking
FBI and Department of Justice officials, including former FBI director
James Comey as well as Andrew Mc Cabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and
Bruce Ohr. Congressmember Adam Schiff, the top ranking Democrat on the
House Intelligence Committee, criticized Trump, calling his move a
"clear abuse of power."
