China Detains Interpol Police Chief, Accusing Him of Corruption

The president of Interpol, Meng Hongwei, has stepped down from the
international police cooperation agency after being accused of
corruption and detained by Chinese authorities. Meng reportedly went
missing after he recently flew from France, where Interpol is
headquartered, to visit China, where he is a citizen.
