Ethiopia: Women Make Up 50 Percent of New Cabinet

In Ethiopia, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed unveiled his new cabinet Tuesday,
appointing women to a record 50 percent of positions. Ethiopia now
becomes one of the first African nations-and one of only a few countries
worldwide-with gender parity in ministerial positions.
