Colombia: Environmental Leader Assassinated Amid Spate of Activist Murders

In Colombia, human rights groups are denouncing the assassination of yet
another human rights activist: Otto Valenzuela, one of the leaders of an
environmental community organization in the Colombian Amazon. The
activist was found shot to death on October 8. Human rights groups say
over 100 Colombian activists have been murdered so far this year.
