November 20, 2018 Mexicans Protest Central American Migrants in Tijuana ----------------------------------------------------- As more migrants from several Central American caravans arrive at the Mexican border city of Tijuana, some local residents are protesting their presence, echoing language used by President Trump, referring to the migrants as an "invasion" and chanting "Mexico First." Some demonstrators clashed with police as they protested outside of a migrant shelter Sunday. This is Honduran migrant Karina Rosales, addressing the recent protests. Karina Rosales: "They have the right to protest because they don't like that we're here but in spite of everything, [Mexicans] are good people. They are the same as us. But we're only passing through. We won't stay here."
