U.S. Imposes Sanctions on Venezuela and Cuba

In news on Latin America, national security adviser John Bolton
announced new sanctions on Venezuela and Cuba at a talk in Miami,
Florida, Thursday, also singling out Nicaragua for possible future
sanctions. He also praised far-right, newly elected Brazilian President
Jair Bolsonaro as a "positive sign for the future of the region."
