U.S. Sanctions 17 Saudis over Khashoggi Murder

The Trump administration announced sanctions against 17 Saudis on
Thursday over the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who entered the
Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 2 and was never seen
again. The sanctions did not include the crown prince or any top Saudi
intelligence officials. This came as Saudi Arabia's public prosecutor
announced indictments against 11 Saudi agents, saying it would seek the
death penalty against five of those.
