Sessions Limits Power of Consent Decrees Hours Before Firing

In more news from the Justice Department, Jeff Sessions signed a
last-minute order limiting the use of consent decrees Wednesday, hours
before he was fired by President Trump. The order will restrict the
ability of law enforcement officials to use court-enforced agreements
between the Justice Department and local police departments to enact
changes when the police departments have been accused of abuses and
civil rights violations.
