Hawaii: Mandatory Evacuation Ordered as Kilauea Volcano Erupts

Hawaii's Kilauea volcano erupted Thursday, spewing lava into a
residential neighborhood and triggering dozens of earthquakes. The
eruption on Hawaii's Big Island caused levels of the dangerous gas
sulphur dioxide to spike, prompting a mandatory evacuation for at least
1,700 people.
