Trump Says He's Not Backing Down from Tariffs Plan

President Trump says he's not backing down from his plan to impose
tariffs on imported steel and aluminum, despite opposition from his own
party. Prominent Republicans and business leaders have denounced Trump's
plan, saying the tariffs will hurt the manufacturing industry and U.S.
competitiveness. The top two Republicans in Congress-Senate Majority
Leader Mitch Mc Connell and House Speaker Paul Ryan-have reportedly
implored Trump in private to reconsider his decision. Meanwhile, some
