British Government Approves Fighter Jet Sales to Saudi Arabia

The British government has approved the sale of 48 advanced fighter jets
to Saudi Arabia-despite protests by human rights groups who say the
warplanes will add to war crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition in
Yemen. The U.S.- and British-backed, Saudi-led airstrikes and naval
blockade have devastated Yemen's health, water and sanitation systems,
sparking a massive cholera outbreak and pushing millions of Yemenis to
the brink of starvation. Thousands of Yemenis have been killed.
