Mexico: 2 More Political Candidates Assassinated in Lead-Up to Presidential Election

In Mexico, at least two more political candidates have been assassinated
in the lead-up to Sunday's presidential election. Over the last week,
mayoral candidates Omar Gómez Lucatero and Fernando Ángeles Juárez were
both assassinated in the state of Michoacán. Telesur reports at least
121 politicians have been murdered since September, making this election
cycle the bloodiest in recent Mexican history.
