New Sanctuary Coalition Director Ravi Ragbir Released from Detention

A federal judge in New York City ordered the immediate release of
immigrant rights leader Ravi Ragbir from detention on Monday, calling
his detention "unnecessarily cruel." Ragbir is the executive director of
the New Sanctuary Coalition. He's one of a handful of high-profile
immigrant rights activists who have been targeted by the Trump
administration. We'll hear from Ravi Ragbir after headlines, as well as
from his wife, Amy Gottlieb, an immigrant rights lawyer who will be
attending President Trump's first State of the Union tonight, along with
a handful of other invited immigrant rights leaders, including Houston
DREAMer Cesar Espinosa and Washington state anti-detention activist Maru
Mora Villalpando.
