"Are You a Citizen?": Justice Dept. Seeks to Add 2020 Census Question

The Justice Department is seeking to add a question about whether people
are U.S. citizens to the 2020 census. Immigrant rights advocates have
slammed the move, saying it will cause millions of people to not
participate in the census, and therefore further limit government
services and political representation in majority-immigrant communities.
