Pakistan: Protests Rage After 7-Year-Old Girl Found Raped, Murdered

In Pakistan, protests have erupted nationwide after the body of a
7-year-old girl was found raped and murdered in a district south of
Lahore. Zainab Amin was last seen in surveillance camera video holding a
man's hand as she walked near her home in the town of Kasur. Her body
was later retrieved from a garbage dumpster. It was at least the 12th
such incident in the district over the past year. On Wednesday,
thousands joined a funeral for Zainab, protesting the failure of
Pakistani authorities to stop the sexual assault and murder of children.
