Trump Proposes Appointing His Private Pilot to Head Federal Aviation Authority

President Trump is proposing appointing his private pilot to head the
Federal Aviation Authority. The FAA has an annual budget of $16 billion
and is responsible for regulating and overseeing civil aviation in the
United States. Members of the aviation industry widely said Trump's
personal pilot John Dunkin lacks the experience to head the agency. One
anonymous lobbyist told Politico, "The only person that thinks it's a
good idea, from what I gather, is the president."
