States Ask Pennsylvania Prosecutors for Info on Catholic Church Abuses

Attorneys general from 45 states are asking Pennsylvania prosecutors for
information about sexual misconduct by Catholic priests, as well as
efforts by the church hierarchy to cover up the abuses. This comes as
Jesuit provinces in Maryland and the Midwest released the names of 84
clergy members who are credibly accused of sexually abusing children.
The latest lists bring the number of Jesuits accused of sexual crimes
since the 1950s to 230.
