Turkey Threatens Offensive Against U.S.-Backed Kurds in Syria

Tension is rising between the United States and Turkey after Turkish
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened to launch an offensive against
U.S.-backed Kurdish fighters in Syria who have been battling ISIS.
Erdogan said he wants to clear Kurdish fighters from east of the
Euphrates. The U.S. military said such an action is unacceptable.
