Hundreds of Thousands Protest in Barcelona to Demand Freedom for Catalan Leaders

In Barcelona, hundreds of thousands of demonstrators poured into the
streets Sunday to demand freedom for Catalan political prisoners-among
them, nine Catalan leaders who are facing trial on charges of
"rebellion," after they helped organize a referendum on Catalonia's
independence from Spain last October.
