September 26, 2017 Amnesty Condemns Mass Iraqi Execution of 42 People -------------------------------------------------- In international news, the Iraqi government executed at least 42 people on Sunday, in the biggest mass execution of the year. The 42 people were hanged at a prison in the southern city of Nasiriyah. They were all Sunni Muslims convicted on terrorism charges.
