Scotland Bans Oil and Gas Fracking

Scotland has banned the oil and gas drilling process known as fracking,
in a major win for environmentalists. Scotland joins Wales, which banned
fracking in 2015, and the move increases pressure on lawmakers in
England to reverse their support for the environmentally destructive
practice.
