Afghanistan: Taliban Attack Kills 43 Afghan Soldiers

In Afghanistan, at least 43 Afghan soldiers have been killed in a
Taliban attack on an army base in southern Kandahar province. A separate
Taliban attack in the north of Afghanistan killed six police officers.
This comes only one day after a wave of Taliban attacks against the
Afghan military left at least 80 people dead on Tuesday.
