50 Killed and Tens of Thousands Displaced by Flooding in Vietnam

In Vietnam, at least 50 people have been killed in floods and landslides
after a tropical storm hit the northern and central parts of the
country. Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate, as
the flooding submerged more than 30,000 homes. It has also killed up to
40,000 animals. One resident of the hard-hit northwest province of Hoa
Binh said, "It's impossible to fight against this water, it's the
strongest in years."
