Philadelphia: Javier Flores to Leave Sanctuary After Winning Immigration Hearing

And back in the United States, in Philadelphia, Mexican immigrant Javier
Flores is slated to leave the Arch Street United Methodist Church where
he has taken refuge to avoid deportation for nearly a year. Javier
Flores has been living in Philadelphia for 20 years and is the father of
three U.S.-born children. He took sanctuary only days after President
Trump was elected. Javier Flores has won an immigration hearing, which
will shield him from the threat of deportation for now. He's slated to
walk out of the church today.
