Pentagon Admits There Are Nearly 9,000 U.S. Troops in Iraq

The Pentagon has admitted there are thousands more U.S. troops in Iraq
than previously acknowledged. In its quarterly report, the Pentagon said
there were nearly 9,000 U.S. troops in Iraq-more than 3,000 more troops
than the military has officially acknowledged.
