Senate Committee Warned over Trump's Power to Launch Nuclear War

Elsewhere on Capitol Hill, Pentagon leaders told a Senate panel Tuesday
they would ignore any unlawful order by the president to launch a
nuclear strike. The testimony came as part of the first congressional
hearings in more than 40 years on the president's authority to start a
nuclear war. This is Connecticut Democrat Chris Murphy.

Sen. Chris Murphy: "We are concerned that the president of the United
States is so unstable, is so volatile, has a decision-making process
that is so quixotic, that he might order a nuclear weapon strike that is
wildly out of step with U.S. national security interests."
