Indian Court Grants Ganges & Yamuna Rivers Legal Rights of Human Beings

A high court in India has granted the Ganges and Yamuna rivers the same
legal rights as human beings. The ruling comes after the New Zealand
Parliament passed a law granting the Whanganui River full legal rights
last week.
