White House Considering Slashing U.S. Funding to United Nations

The White House has reportedly instructed the State Department to look
for ways to cut more than a third of its budget. This could include
slashing in half the United States' annual $10 billion in funding for
U.N. programs such as peacekeeping, vaccines and children's aid. The
outline of President Trump's preliminary budget is slated to be released
Thursday.
