50,000 Protesters Form Human Chain to Demand Belgium Close Nuclear Reactors

As many as 50,000 protesters formed a human chain that stretched across
parts of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands on Sunday to demand
Belgium shut down two nuclear reactors. The reactors are more than 30
years old and have been temporarily shut down twice in recent years
after cracks were discovered in the core tanks.
