Florida Supreme Court Halts Law Requiring Abortion Waiting Period

In Florida, the state's Supreme Court blocked a law Thursday requiring a
woman seeking an abortion to wait at least 24 hours after first meeting
with her doctor. The American Civil Liberties Union hailed the ruling,
saying in a statement, "Politicians have no business interfering with a
woman's private health care decisions, including the decision to have an
abortion."
