NFL Players Pull Out of Trip to Israel in Solidarity with Palestinians

Meanwhile, Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett and Miami Dolphins
wide receiver Kenny Stills have pulled out of an Israeli
government-sponsored trip to Israel next week. In an open letter that
referenced Muhammad Ali and quoted Olympian John Carlos, Bennett said,
"When I do go to Israel-and I do plan to go-it will be to see not only
Israel but also the West Bank and Gaza so I can see how the
Palestinians, who have called this land home for thousands of years,
live their lives." President Trump is meeting with Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week. Trump is also meeting with
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today.
