California Wildfire Explodes North of Los Angeles, Threatening Homes

In Southern California, a growing wildfire is threatening homes in the
foothills north of Los Angeles. Ventura County officials have ordered
residents of about 1,000 homes to evacuate as firefighters battle a
10,000-acre blaze.
