Malta: Suspects Arrested over Murder of Anti-Corruption Journalist
------------------------------------------------------------------

In Malta, police have arrested at least eight people in connection with
the assassination of investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia,
who died in October when a powerful bomb planted in her car exploded
near her home. Police will have 48 hours to question the suspects before
either charging or releasing them. Galizia was known for her work
exposing corruption, tax evasion and organized crime.
