Chile: Sebastián Piñera Wins New Term as President

In Chile, billionaire former President Sebastián Piñera easily won a new
presidential term Sunday in a runoff vote that pitted him against Sen.
Alejandro Guillier. During his previous term, Piñera sparked massive
protests by unions and student groups over his moves to privatize public
services, including education.
