Atlanta Airport Blackout Strands Passengers, Grounds 1,500 Flights

In Georgia, a fire at an underground electrical facility knocked out
power at Atlanta International Airport for 11 hours on Sunday, stranding
passengers, plunging terminals into darkness and canceling more than
1,500 flights at the world's busiest airport. The blackout left some
passengers trapped aboard grounded planes for more than six hours.
