Japan to Mark 72nd Anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki Bombings

In Japan, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will lead commemorations Sunday and
next Wednesday for the 72nd anniversary of the U.S. atomic bombings of
Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Last November, the mayors of both cities invited
President Trump to join ceremonies marking the anniversary, to follow up
on President Obama's historic trip to Hiroshima in 2016. President Trump
did not accept their invitation.
